Recruitment of Jakob Rune Nielsen as a modeller - December 2011
Jacob R. Nielsen starts as a modeller in our prototype and model department in Billund. Jacob is MSc. mag. in History of Art and Multimedia at Aarhus University. Jacob comes from a position as teacher at the school. Alongside his work as a teacher, Jakob run his own company with the production of models including fairytale characters and painting models for collectors. Before that Jakob worked as a figure painter at Games Workshop in Nottingham.
Jacob is absolutely fantastic for modeling and painting figures, and before he started at DaVinci, he worked exclusively analog, ie. manually with 2-component modeling clay and a few hand tools. At DaVinci's Jacob started with digital tools, and it looks very promising. More news regarding. These new initiatives follow later ...
