Polyjet - material for prototype
A polyjet prototype can be produced in many different materials. It can be hard, soft, elastic, stiff, transparent, white, black or other shades of gray.
With polyjet you have the option varying strengths and hardnesses.
DaVinci development, several different types of polyjet material.
Ear prototype material
Material Name: FullCure 680 - skin tone
This material is designed specifically for hearing aids and other very small items where precision is paramount. This polyjet material used directly in the production of ear protection, which creates a whole new dimension of flexibility and customized solutions.
Transperant polyjet prototype material
Material Name: FullCure 720
This material makes it possible to produce transparent (transperant) prototypes. It offers unprecedented opportunities to create functional 3D models which you can actually see what happens inside the middle of the facility or where the mechanics collide.
Digital prototyping materials
Material Name: VeroWhite FullCure 830 and Tange Black Fullcure 970
Digital materials means that two different materials are mixed and thus can create different material properties - also distributed on the same topic.
One material is VeroWhite, which is a strong white material with a high tensile strength, but brittle.
The second material is Tango Black, a black weak material with a low tensile strength, but flexible.
You can then mix these two materials together and get a mix with just the property your 3d model needs. You even have the opportunity to combine where on your item it must be flexible and where it must be strong.
Rubber prototyping material
Material Name: Tango Plus FullCure 930
This material can give a realistic feel of rubber or silicone on your 3d model. It is a flexible material that you have the opportunity to get into it without breakage. It is almost only imagination sets limits to what you can use this prototype material.
