SLS material for prototype
Prototypes of the SLS provided by DaVinci are prototypes at best quality. Our Sinterstation HQ doing prototypes with a layer thickness of, 0.1 mm and we are the only ones who can in Denmark.
Good properties of SLS material
- Good for fittings and snap solutions
- Is strong enough to be used in finished products (rapid manufacturing)
- Can be used for forms / tools
SLS prototypes are available in different materials:
- Nylon - Datasheet (pdf) - Nylon product
- Glass filled nylon
- Nylon flex
- DuraForm Ex - Datasheet (pdf) - DuraForm Ex product
- Metal.
DaVinci development may soon present prototypes in aluminum.
DaVinci development also deliver prototypes in Flex Plastic, Steel, stainless steel, and flame resistant materials.
