CASE: FLSmidth A / S - Al Minya
DaVinci has 3D printed scale models in 1:500 for FLSmidth A / S. FLSmidth desired scale model to their customer, Al Minya Cement Plant in Egypt.
FLSmidt supplied 3D CAD data and from this printed DaVinci the complete concrete plant consisting of buildings, pipes and trucks etc., using rapid prototyping / 3D printing technology, SLS , and create individual buildings in MDF to keep the price down and increase stability. The models were then painted and varnished.
